Privacy notice

This notice explains what Larchmont Digital collects on this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Larchmont Digital is a marketing agency based in Los Angeles, California.
We do not collect information about your customers
Nothing on this site asks for, or is designed to receive, personal information about the people you serve. Our forms collect business details from owners. If you send us records about your own customers anyway, we will delete them and tell you we have.
What we collect
- What you type into a form. Your name, business email, phone number, business name, city, number of locations, budget range and timeline.
- What you submit to the audit tool. A website address and an email address, plus the results we generate from that public website.
- Basic technical data. Pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, browser type, and the campaign parameters in the link you arrived on.
- A hashed form of your IP address, used only to rate limit abuse of our tools. We do not store the address itself.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, prepare for a call, and deliver the report you asked for.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries to us.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
Cookies and tracking
No analytics or advertising cookie is set before you make a choice. We use Google Consent Mode with every advertising and analytics category denied by default, and load nothing in those categories until you accept.
We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information automatically, and we do not show you a banner asking again.
We do not use session recording, heatmaps or any tool that replays what you did on this site. We do not use them on our clients' sites either.
Who we share it with
We sell nothing to data brokers. We use a small number of service providers to run the business: hosting, database, transactional email, spam protection, error monitoring, our scheduling tool, and — only if you consent — Google Analytics and advertising platforms. Each processes data on our instructions.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of it.
Advertising cookies can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. Use the button below to opt out on this browser, or send a GPC signal, or decline in the cookie banner — any of the three is enough.
To make any other request, email hello@larchmontdigital.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We verify requests by replying to the email address on file, and respond within the timeframe California law requires. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Audit reports are kept for 12 months so the link you were sent keeps working. Client records are kept as long as the engagement plus the period our tax and contractual obligations require.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with reputable providers, and reachable by the small number of people who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the date at the top changes and the new version appears here.
